What a shit-astic fandom day, seriously.
First, Haley, from my hometown, gets booted from American Idol, leaving two boring-ass country singers. Okay.

Then Brennan is pregnant. I'm going back and forth between being all excite and wanting to throw things at my tv. I wanted kisses, and some kind of sex scene, and some relationship-stuff before BOOM!baby! This show is ridiculous.

Then I found out that Lisa Edelstein won't be returning to House, and that V was canceled.

Then,
in which they set up the possibility of an awesome plot development: having Erin be Phyllis' daughter, and didn't have it be true. And things are looking bleak for Angela and Dwight ever reuniting. Though, do I even care at this point?

Blah, what fuckery.

On a real life/good note, I lost 4.4 pounds last week. Yay?

What did you all think of the aforementioned fandom developments?

I need to catch up on True Blood before the new season starts.

Any other shows I should be watching? Suggest!

Seriously, what was the point of the Erin-as-Phyllis' daughter thing?? I guess it humanized Phyllis a little bit for two seconds and made her slightly less of a bitch, but...WTF. I mean, I'm glad they didn't actually do it, because that would've been stupid, but just introducing it and then going "Oh j/k not really" was just random. Meh. And yeah, way to kill my beta-ships--I love Angela/Dwight and Andy/Erin, and both of them seem to be dead. WHYYYYY

Congrats on the weight loss! ;)

I see you don't like Phyllis, ha ha. Why? I don't particularly mind her.

I don't think Andy/Erin is at all over, but I'm not having high hopes for Angela/Dwight, which is sad.

Thanks!

I admit I don't. Well, occasionally I do, but I do find her to be rather a bitch. That's not always a bad thing, but sometimes she goes after people I like, like Pam--remember she was like "you have to direct calls randomly, not just to the person you're sleeping with that week"? Geez! I mean, I kinda love the idea that the sweet knitting lady is kind of filthy and evil a lot of the time, but sometimes she's just way too nasty. She does get some good lines, though.

I get delaying Andy/Erin from actually happening, but I don't understand the way they did it. Like, he's over her?! But not?? It was just...flat, in a way, to me. :\ And yeah, we haven't had any solid Dwangela action in a long time now, which makes me sad. She brought out a nice side in him. :( Makes me sad.

Yeah, she's said some pretty shitty things to Pam, and I too am quite fond of Pam. I'm thinking of the "Close your mouth honey, you look like a trout" line. But I still kinda love her, ha ha.

Yeah, I think it did fall flat. I'm feeling like a lot of it is now that Steve Carell is gone. *sigh*
